Hi !

Sounds very nice and interesting ... but It is the second file browser in gnustep.

IMO, wouldn't it better to have something like a bundle in order to use GSMBrowser abilities in GWorkspace ? rather than use 2 different applications ?

Hi folks,

this is to announce the first release (beta) of GSMBrowser, a GNUstep
SAMBA browser that uses nmblookup to find the domain master and
smbclient to process shares. 

Features:

*       refresh browser
*       upload a file
*       download a file
*       delete a file
*       make a directory
*       delete a directory that is empty
*       print a local file on a SMB printer

You are encouraged to try it out and report bugs that you may find, as
well as feature requests.

There are TGZ and ZIP archives as well as a screenshot that shows the
GUI at

      http://www.gnustep.it/marko/GSMBrowser/index.html

This browser was inspired by "xsmbrowser", but the GUI is completely
different and many features are not implemented yet.

This software is GPLed.
