While working on the GNUstep programming tutorial I tried to create
examples that showed the gnustep-make abilities for C, Objective-C and
GNUstep and the differences in the GNUmakefiles.
I created:
hello.c :
#include <stdio.h>
int main(void)
{
printf("hello world\n");
}
GNUmakefile :
include $(GNUSTEP_MAKEFILES)/common.make
CTOOL_NAME = hello
hello_HEADERS =
hello_C_FILE = hello.c
hello_RESOURCE_FILES =
include $(GNUSTEP_MAKEFILES)/ctool.make
Running make results in:
Making all for ctool hello...
Linking ctool hello ...
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/3.3.2/../../../crt1.o(.text+0x18): In
function `_start':
../sysdeps/i386/elf/start.S:98: undefined reference to `main'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [shared_obj/hello] Error 1
make: *** [hello.all.ctool.variables] Error 2
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a bug in gnustep-make ?
With kind regards,
