Re: can make echo commands?

Thanks for the tip. I also discovered that I can give
a "message=yes" option along with make which prints
out the exact command being given by make for each
line. It's less verbose than make -n, while being
quite informative. 

Thanks for your tip anyway, it will be quite useful to
me.
