Hi all,
I would like to release a good 0.40 version of SimpleAgenda (to have
time to mess with the networking code for 0.41 and get Google Calendar
to work for example) so it would be great if some of you could test svn
trunk and report bugs if you find some.
You can get svn trunk with the following command :
svn co svn://coyote.octets.fr/gnustep/SimpleAgenda/trunk SimpleAgenda
If you find a bug, please report it on SimpleAgenda's trac or by email,
backtraces would be great if it crashes.
Here's the current NEWS file for the soon to be 0.40 :
* Display tooltips over appointments if the user want them
* Use libuuid to generate unique event ids if available
* Fix ticket #13 : iCalendar stores can use local files
* The appointment editor becomes non modal
* The task editor becomes non modal
* Internationalization infrastructure and beginning of a french
translation
* Set application title from the selected date and tab
* Show today's date in the appicon
* Use a human readable description for colors in defaults
* Show time in the appicon
* Add a new UI Preferences panel and use it for tooltips and
date and time in the appicon
* Full keyboard navigation in appointment and task dialogs
(you can use the Tab key in the description fields, yeah !)
* Bug fixes thanks to Fred Kiefer and James Jordan
* Better navigation performances with lots of appointments
Thanks,
Philippe
