It seems to me that you are trying to use the mpg as VOB file,
which is not right. VOB files contain more info than normal mpg files.
I never use ifogen, but my impression is that ifogen is not a full
functional DVD authoring tool, which is necessary to generate a valid
VOB file from a mpg file.
