There's an optional kernel patch, I'm not sure what it does, but I
didn't use it. Its a frontend to mkisofs, with a built in custom
version of 'dd' apparently, so I imagine it will work.
Actually, now that I look it says at the bottom:
"Version 5.6 adds support for Solaris 2.x"
I assume thats the SunOS kernel version or something, not Solaris 2 as
in way older than Solaris 10.
They even have support options for Solaris:
