I wish you wouldn't do that - just a wish. <backtab> is essentially S-TAB. I
would prefer that Emacs leave TAB combinations alone, so that users and
libraries can make use of them without stepping on standard bindings.

FWIW, C-v and M-v make more sense (yes, in the minibuffer too) for scrolling
completions than do TAB and <backtab>.
