Sigh. I wasn't going to go there, but....in fact I have already done
several work items raised specifically by Eli. And have several more
remaining on the transition list. A notable one is ensuring that Bazaar
"fixes bug" metadata is preserved, something not true of the mirror now.

I'm a very reasonable person about meeting requirements like that
which are raised in a genuine attempt to improve the quality of the
result. It's for sure no one else is going to do them for you.

Being reasonable does not, however, mean I will put up with
obstreperous bullshit. What I just quoted, from Juanma and Eli both,
was obstreperous bullshit. That, I respond to by decreasing my
willingness to pay attention to the bullshitter.

So let me spell it out: Juanma, if you think you are not being
listened to, you have only your own bad attitude to blame for that.
Same goes for you, Eli. After enough pissy, semi-autistic territorial
grunting I just start tuning all of it out.

Conversely, you can earn my attention and increased willingness to do
what you want by putting effort into helping with the work. You can
begin an attempt to be helpful at any time you like.

Here are some things you could do to help:

1. Identify the actual merge points of as many of the =-prefixed attic
files as possible, so I can do the cleanup Andreas wants.

2. Spot CVS cliques consisting of uncoalesced single-file changes and their
ChangeLog entry commits so I can squash them into proper changesets.

3. Investigate the old-branches and other-branches groups and determine
which ones, if any, should be dicarded.

4. Report Bazaar and CVS references that aren't already in the
emacs.lift file.

Or, you can leave me to do all the work alone while flaming from the
sidelines. If you choose that, don't blame anyone but yourselves
if you think (wrongly) that you've had no influence on the result.
