You do a wonderful job maintaining Emacs. I can't think of anyone else
who could do it anywhere near as well, from the point of view of either
your technical accomplishments, or being so damnably nice to people...
Many thanks for all the work you put in.
I can quite understand you being tired of it.
I'm sorry that I can't help with any of the specific points you raised.
(Well, I've been trying to stay out of arguments.)
I really hope people step up in response. Eg, there seem to be several
people interested in package-related matters.
