That's (at least) one place where Org-mode will shine: the code example
can be edited natively in the emacs lisp mode, and tested directly from
there. 

(my opinion on this entire thread, is that I don't see the big need for
replacing Texinfo, but _if_ Texinfo is to be replaced then org-mode
should be considered as the replacement)
