That remark could easily be misinterpreted by those not closely following the discussion. We're not talking about ", `, and ' in Emacs Lisp syntax -- nobody's proposing changing that. We're talking only about the prose that appears in commentary and strings of Emacs Lisp source files, and this makes Chad Brown's remarks about prose relevant to the discussion.
