What I had in mind was the Emacs commands which accept prefix argument
to mean how many lines to move/copy/delete/whatever.  E.g., "C-u C-u C-n",
something AFAIK no other editor has to this day.

Given the responses, I guess we will need to have this sub-mode as well.
