That’s not exaggeration. That’s the current status quo. MELPA is ubiquitous. It’s not optional if you want a not-shit Emacs environment. Almost allpackage.el users have MELPA added — I think that would apply to the members of
this mailing list too. Dismissing a valid argument as ‘exaggeration’ when youdon’t know what is happening on GitHub or /r/emacs/ (with valid reasons) looks
more like venting to me.
