Why do you think so?  Have you experimented with that?

Please describe/specify the behavior you're requesting.

Narrowing is about refining matches using an input
pattern.  How would editing (self-inserting chars) in
*Completions* help with that?

Why are people thinking it's good to make users move
to *Completions* to carry out completion actions and
actions on candidates?

(My crystal ball whispers "a step backward".)
