Yes, and FWIW, I (at least) complained about that
when it (and similar non-CL things) were added to
cl*.el.  I see (and got) no good reason for that.

Things that are not Common-Lisp emulation don't
belong in the cl*.el files, and they shouldn't
be documented in the CL manual.  IMHO.
