AFAIK you can control the fonts just like you do under X11.  But it can
be difficult to find a good alternative font when you grew fond
a particular choice, indeed (I'm still using the bitmapped
misc-fixed-semicondensed here :-)

I suspect that this text means you can do copy&paste between different
"windows" of a single `fbterm` (which gives you something similar to
Linux's multiple consoles but uses a single console) but not between
different `fbterm` running in different consoles.
