I would need to compile with Visual StudioPls, why do you *need* to compile with that ancient Microsoft product? Couldn't you use MinGW, CygWin, Clang or ICC?
To be precise I need to compile my app with MSVC, but I can compile Fluidsynth to a DLL with MinGW and use the DLL from MSVC if that works. A quick web search suggests it should.
MSVC may have an ancient OpenMP but their C++ compiler is pretty much as up to date as any.
