alpha23 is out on gentoo. Good news after alpha22 didn't get in.
The standard tests I let portage (gentoo package management system)
do have this to say:
QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile
fine but exhibit random runtime failures.
StreamFilter.cpp:70: warning: dereferencing type-punned pointer will break
strict-aliasing rules
