SMSD bug

I am getting an error when trying to send a message using smsd.

The tgz archive www.campbell-lange.net/smsd_report.tgz has the following
files:
        
        compile                                 compile output with debug 
enabled
        smsd_compile                    smsd make output
        smsd_module_compile             smsd module make output
        gnokiid_report                  gnokiid send message output (succeeds)
        smsd_report                             smsd send message output (fails)

I am running Debian woody on a PC:
Linux sandcastle 2.2.20-compact #1 Mon Dec 31 07:25:12 EST 2001 i686 unknown

SMSD problems:
