Hi all!

Ive recently purchased a Nokia 6100 and a usb cable (MA-8620E), which uses pl2303 kernel module.

This is an output of /var/log/messages, just after plugging the adapter:

Jun 30 11:02:03 tm242 kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:1d.2-1, assigned address 4
Jun 30 11:02:03 tm242 kernel: usbserial.c: PL-2303 converter detected
Jun 30 11:02:03 tm242 kernel: usbserial.c: PL-2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs) Jun 30 11:02:06 tm242 usb.agent[29878]: missing kernel or user mode driver pl2303
Jun 30 11:02:08 tm242 devlabel: devlabel service started/restarted

And when i try to connect the phone, y get:

GNOKII Version 0.6.1

LOG: rlpdebug mask is 0x1
LOG: xdebug mask is 0x1
Lockfile /var/lock/LCK..ttyUSB0 is stale. Overriding it..

My config file is:

[global]
port = /dev/ttyUSB0

model = 6100
initlength = default
connection = serial
bindir = /usr/sbin/
use_locking = yes
serial_baudrate = 19200
smsc_timeout = 10
[connect_script]
TELEPHONE = 12345678
[disconnect_script]
[logging]
debug = on
rlpdebug = on
xdebug = on

I have tried using handshake hard/soft, connection dau9p and dlr3p, and also model AT, and does not work.

I thinks this has something to do with that line "Jun 30 11:02:06 tm242 usb.agent[29878]: missing kernel or user mode driver pl2303" in /var/log/messages.

Im using 2.4.22-1.2188.nptl (fc1).

Any idea on this?

Thanks all.
