I got back my Nokia 6100 from service center yesterday (it was broken after I exited SMS editor, without help of computer), and I found it has a new firmware (it is the same as shown above). I thought about testing nk6510 driver with Linux & irda, but Philipp did that first :-)
So, nk6510 driver does not break Nokia 6100 with new firmware? I still feel the risk (who knows, what is the reason of breaking), but I will try to test it too.
