Hi!

We experience a strange problem. Gnokii stopped working when we
exchanged the hardware of the computer it should be running on.

The old one was a single Celeron box, the new one is a dual Xeon system.

The hardware does work. The phone + cable work on a different (also SMP)
system and both the serial ports on the new system work.

The debug output looks like:

GNOKII Version 0.6.5
LOG: debug mask is 0x1
Lockfile /var/lock/LCK..ttyS1 is stale. Overriding it..
phone instance config:
model: 6110
port_device: /dev/ttyS1
connection_type: 1
init_length: 0
serial_baudrate: 19200
serial_write_usleep: -1
hardware_handshake: 0
require_dcd: 0
smsc_timeout: 100

rfcomm_cn: 1
sm_retry: off

Telephone interface init failed: Command timed out.
Quitting.

I appriciate any hints for a solution.

Greetings
