chinese garbled sms with --getsms locale utf8chinese

Hi all, I'm trying from already 2 days to solve this problem... I guess there is certainly a stupid solution, but i cannot find anything on search engines to help me...
 
My projects need to receive chinese SMS and to save them in mysql, I already compiled gnokii 0.6.27, with dku2libusb module. Everything is ok including smsd except that i receive garbled sms content for all sms written in Chinese.
 
I suppose it could come from my locale, but I tried already to set it in Chinese (see below) and it is still the same problem.
I also managed to send sms in chinese, but still no way to read them correctly
 
Do you knwo if I did something wrong? should i apply any patch?
