[Gnu-arch-users] get via update heuristics

I think it would be nice if update supported the same heuristic for
desired revision retrieval as get does.

Currently, with a config, to update the entire tree to be up-to-date
with respect to another config, that other config needs version
specifiers across the board.

get doesn't: it'll fill in the gap from address@hidden/dists--devo
to address@hidden/dists--devo--1.0

If update did the same logic, it would help.
