Bearing in mind that I can't test this personally (so it might be bad
advice) please have a look at: src/PLUGIN/auto

Note the line:

     library-test socket-library -lsocket

Add a similar line:

     library-test socket-library -linet

If that doesn't cut it, package-framework probably needs some tweaking
-- but it's through reports like this one that that can happen.
