[Gnu-arch-users] question about (pre)commit hook

From: Johannes Berg
Subject: [Gnu-arch-users] question about (pre)commit hook
Date: Wed, 07 Jan 2004 16:11:28 +0100

In the (pre)commit hook, is it guaranteed that the commit log is present
in
  $ARCH_TREE_ROOT/++log.${ARCH_REVISION without revision part}--$ARCH_ARCHIVE

Or rather -- will this always be the case? Currently, it wouldn't be a
problem if the log would be renamed (*), so whats the plan on this?

(*) the name is given by make-log on stdout, and if all other parts of
tla use the same name it shouldn't be a problem for it to be different.
