[Gnu-arch-users] copying archive?

Is it possible to copy or move an archive from one location to another,
i.e. from "address@hidden/project--branch--version" to
"address@hidden/project--branch--version"?  While tagging and caching revisions
would allow checkouts from the latter without the former being present, it
wouldn't allow checkouts from any prior version (again, assuming the
original archive has gone away for some reason).
