Hi everyone,
I'm new to arch but I must say that I really like it. It's really well
designed and it do the things how they must be done.
I just finished reading the tutorial and most of the wiki but I still
can't find what the version field stand for.
I looked here:
http://arch.quackerhead.com/~lord/archives/
and it's 1.0 everywhere.
I currently use CVS for my pet project, OBB, our last release is
0.7.1. Now lets suppose that I migrate OBB, 0.7.1 from CVS to arch.
Should I put it in
obb--main--0.9
since we plan that the next release will be 0.9 ? Yes, it's a bit weird
to skip 0.8 but we won't make any stable release before 1.0.
And then after 0.9 is released, make
obb--main--0.11--base-0
a tag on
obb--main--0.9--final-0
?
Oh how do you give names, like "0.9-alpha-3", to branches in a tag
branch ?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
: )
