Did the update get interrupted somehow, e.g. due to errors? Perhaps
the file is in the latest ,,undo directory, in
,,undo-N/new-files-archive/
Then a tla redo might help.

I performed these steps with a current tla, and the file didn't get
lost, but was either in the ,,undo directory (on interruption) or
properly redone.
