[GNU-linux-libre] Using the Linux Liberation Scripts

Hi!
In regards to the Linux de-blobbing scripts published by the FSFLA, are the blobs/blobbed files hard-coded or detected at run-time? What modifications would typically be required to port it to an alternative kernel tree, if the former? A user at the Trisquel fora (https://trisquel.info/en/forum/free-pda-running-jmp?page=1#comment-120157) managed to get the scripts for 4.2 to run on the sunxi-based PocketChip kernel (with some poking and prodding), but neither of us know for certain if this is sufficient to produce a blob-free kernel.

Regards,
