I don't believe it is an automatic translation.

It is in the comments of the code:

 * Project LevenbergMarquardtLeastSquaresFitting
 *        (more info in lmmin.c)
 * File lmmin.h (C) Joachim Wuttke 2004-8
 * Public interface to the Levenberg-Marquardt core implementation.
