All,

The bayonne\gnucomm project (http://www.bayonne.cx) could soon be replacing EWOK. This is great news because bayonne is a mature product with several installations. It readily supports devices like phones and faxes! The bayonne team is willing to work on TOSI stuff as well to give us a singular device API that we were looking for in EWOK.

For those of you currently needing phone/fax solutions run, dont walk to bayonne and see if they can help you today. :) We are working on finalizing how GNUe and Bayonne/GNUComm will fit together and we hope to see bayonne\gnucomm not only be a GNU Project (which they are), but be under the GNU Enterprise meta project as well.

With that I would like to welcome David Sugar (address@hidden) and Rich Bodo (address@hidden) to our community. Please feel free to email them directly with any questions.
