I believe this means that python distutils module is missing. For some reason
(at least on debian) they break that module out into a python-dev package.
You might see if that is the case on your distro.

I'd take a look at guide to see what would have changed but we've suffered a
server failure today.

I thought we put rpms of our tools on the website. Again, I can't check at
the moment. :(
If your issues isn't a missing distutils module please let me know and we'll
work through this.
