If I recall correctly there's no way to do such things in cvs. I might
mix it up with the impossibility of doing actual versioning of such
information though.

Arend has already answered this but another somewhat more crude way is
to just remove the file and do a cvs update as usual. The main
advantage is that you have to remember one less option. :-)
