Actually

         /etc/gnumed/gnumed.conf (years ago)

is what is in my freshly-installed debian vm. Therefore maybe that is  
what is in the 0.2.8.10-1 package... is that correct?

So is it actually changed maybe in cvs and is there some reason it  
does not get written down in the same way in certain packaged releases?
