No. The [form] group only exists within the context of
"TextForm" templates, not within LaTeXForm ones.

However, the "template = $template$" stanza *within* a
TextForm could well contain a LaTeX template. In that case
one would need to configure "post processor = pdflatex" in
order to have the filled in template be processed by
pdflatex.

That doesn't make much sense, however, because the dedicated
LaTeXForm engine does a much better job of processing LaTeX
templates (because it knows a thing or two about LaTeX).
