I noticed that the 'Member Services' mails are 'special' too. Should there be special handling for these? I personally consider them to be 'spam' and I propose just deleting the darned things.

OK, Hello fellas...

I've been using gotmail as a bit of a leach for the past year or so,
and must admit that everyone who's contributed has done admirably well
to keep it as stable as it is. Thank you.. When it broke this time, I
decided to see what I can do to help. Unfortunately, I'm not a
tried-and-true perl programmer. I have done my share of it though, and
hacked around a bit to see what I could come up with.

I've attached the gotmail script that I ended up with, with the
following notes.
    - I really havn't added anything.. I did, but removed it when it
      didn't work :)
    - The "original" code for downloading the actual e-mail, which was
commented out [lines 908-910], works, whereas the stuff that was not
commented [lines 898-907], doesn't... I simply switched back to the
original code... This gets by the 404 error reported in the last
      mailing.
    - The script, as included, works for me to download and delete all the
mail in my Inbox, with one exception.
    - "Hotmail Member Services" distributed an e-mail with a different
format than a regular e-mail. I notice even the message icon is
different. As long as this message was in my Inbox, gotmail
failed. I'm assuming this to be the lack of a <pre> tag in the
message, but I can't find it, even in other messages source...
    - gotmail does NOT download the junkmail folder. Being as I havn't
actually logged into hotmail in months, I can't say if it even used
      to.

Sorry for rambling so much... Just trying to provide as much info as
possible. I hope it helps somewhat.
