You're welcome! I'm happy to help. :) And sorry about "git am" not working, 
though I'm not sure why. I sent the email with "git send-email 
--to=guix-patches@gnu.org --subject-prefix="PATCH core-updates" HEAD^" as I've 
done with other patches (I also have format.useAutoBase set to whenAble in my 
.gitconfig).
