Wait... Looks like this is already the case. For example on <https://h-node.org/webcams/view/en/2173/HP---Inc/1/1/undef/undef/undef/undef/webcam-works/undef> there's distribution version (8.0), distribution (Trisquel), kernel (4.4.0-184-generic, 4.15.0-106-generic). And comments can be added to descriptions.
