You haven't suddenly started using the secure option, have you? The
libcrypto messages suggest a misunderstanding somewhere...
When I had major connection problems, I'd try running cfd on the main
server by hand with the -d3 option... that runs it attached to the
terminal, with major debugging messages. Sometimes you can see a jewel
scroll by among all the messages that will help a lot.
