I had a tidy section to clean up a init script and associated links,
this appeared to work well once I added the links=tidy to the entry for
the symbolic links. However it appears to have run wild on our SGI's
and started deleting OS links that were unrelated to anything in our
CFEngine control. In debugging the problem I put back a couple of links
to allow the kernel to rebuild. They were deleted on the next run and
from the debug output it appears CFEngine thought they did not point to
anything. This appears to be some bug with the SGI's, I have not seen
any problems with our Solaris or Linux boxes. I was wondering if anyone
had seen anything like this or had any ideas why this would happen.
Thanks,
Doug
