I have a historical question on ange-ftp.
What is the history of the name? I personally find the name "ange-ftp"
confusing and non-intuitive. When I tell people about it I always say
Use dired on the remote computer with the command
C-x d /address@hidden:
I don't tell them what is happening on the inside.
