Good question, because I am very interested in that too.
Looks like (however, I am not sure) it can be compiled only with gcc,
besides, many gmp routines are written in the GNU assembly language,
so the only way to use it with non-gcc compilers under Windows is to
make a dll, say, using cygwin or dev-c.
