Niels,

I strongly suggest looking at free software alternatives to Matlab. There is
great resources on the web that list Matlab compliments. Here are a few I
found from osalt.com  http://www.osalt.com/matlab

Octave
Sage
Scilab

Some others include

R-project
SciPy and/or NumPy
Maxima

These are great alternatives to Matlab and I'm sure, if they don't already,
could be interfaced to GLPK.

Thank you very much for your efforts.

I redirected your message to the help-glpk mailing list with the tarball
attached (however, I removed mex files to reduce the attachment size);
see http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-glpk/2009-05/index.html .

Unfortunately I cannot include glpkmex in the glpk distribution, because
matlab is proprietary (non-free) software.

Best regards,
