Hi, Pietro.

Sorry, maybe your first mail was filtered as spam.

About your suggestions: first, the "Parameters" box is a Scite functionality, I've used only some fields to store some specific parameters. In Gusek help file you can see that the field intended to receive additional run parameters is only the 1st one :
    - Field 1 : run parameters (like cuts or fpump)
    - Field 2 : default dat file
    - Field 3 : extra dat files
    - Field 4 : not used (yet)

So, for the lp and mps files the fields 2 and 3 really will not be read, as this models did'nt use external data files. Again, for run parameters use the 1st field.

About your last poit, these parameters must exist because they are needed by glpsol to read each type of model file (it do not interpret the file extension, like Gusek).

Hugs,
Luiz Bettoni

I report here a couple of minor bugs I found in GUSEK. I emailed the author
first through the address I found in the web page, but he hasn't replied in a
couple weeks, so I also post it here just to be sure it is eventually read by
someone able to fix them:

* the 4th row of the parameters section seems to be ignored: everything I write there
just doesn't end in the GLPK parameters list ("Parameter(s) specified in the command
line:" in the log)
* when I work with .lp and .mps files, it only seems to read the 1st row of
parameters. I tried using --fpump in the 2nd row and it was ignored, I added it
in the 1st one and it went through. This doesn't happen with .mod files
* (this is more of a suggestion than a bug) when running (i.e. F5) .lp and .mps
files the GUSEK automatically adds the --wcpxlp / --mps / --freemps option
respectively, which makes no sense, since I'm already working with such
formats, why would I want to save them again?

Bye,
Pietro Scionti
