Newbie: GNATS 4.0 problem

Hi, I've installed GNATS4.0 (well gnats-3.999.1) on a Redhat 7.1 as per 
instructions.

Quick note: The /etc/xinetd.d/support file sugested in the install docs 
has no whitespace between the key=value pairs. xinetd seems to crash 
because of this. I know I've got it working now, 'cause when I start 
xinetd I get

"Started working: 1 available service" in /var/log/messages
Whereas before I got  "Bad operator for attribute: disable=no [line=3]"

Anyhow, I get an error when I run this

query-pr -H localhost -v keith --category=jas
query-pr: error reading from server

Any ideas?
