OK. I'm at a loss here. A couple months ago, I deployed gnats 3.999
packages from the woody distribution of Debian. During that deployment
and testing phase, I recall file-pr correctly parsing the subject line
and adding audit text to the PR.

It is possible that one of the package upgrades since then has changed
something to make the parsing of the Subject line for use in existing PR
work incorrectly. The current package version is: 3.999.beta1-1.

I have experimented with sending full PR text, sending plaintext through
sendmail -oi -t, using nmh's 'comp' utility to create the email, and of
course, mutt. I'm baffled. I'm also disappointed that file-pr doesn't
seem to send any type of log file that I can find.

It's possible that the bug lies in the dbconfig file. Therefore, I've
provided a copy of that file at the following address, along with the
/etc/aliases and /etc/cron.d/gnats file.

    http://wookimus.net/gnats/

Could someone give me some clues as to how to go about debugging this
problem. This particular bug seriously hinders the usefulness of gnats
for us, and I'd really like to roll this out as the default problem
reporting procedure for the IMA.

Help! ;-)
