OK. You may also try to raise the number of ports the statistics
module is able to handle. To do so, run configure as follows:

    CFLAGS='-DSTAT_MAX_PORT_COUNT=4096' ./configure [OTHER-OPTIONS]

(replace 4096 with the maximum total number of ports you expect the
server to handle), then rebuild the server.
