Hi
at least now i can put radiusd in debug mode
unfortunately the debug mode havent helped a lot :(
the last lines of the debug are

Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: auth.c:350:rad_check_password: auth: Local
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: leakdetect.c:144:efree: free(2002ee78)
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: leakdetect.c:50:radxmalloc: malloc(168) = 200707c8
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: leakdetect.c:144:efree: free(200707c8)
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: auth.c:1239:sfn_ack: ACK: caio
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: radius.c:111:rad_send_reply: Sending Ack of id 197
to
c8ffc21e (nas linux1)
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: radius.c:122:rad_send_reply: reply: Service-Type =
Framed-User
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: radius.c:122:rad_send_reply: reply:
Framed-Protocol = PPP
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: radius.c:122:rad_send_reply: reply:
Framed-Compression
= Van-Jacobson-TCP-IP
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: radius.c:122:rad_send_reply: reply: Framed-MTU =
576
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: radius.c:122:rad_send_reply: reply:
Simultaneous-Use = 0
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.notice: Login OK: [caio]: CLID unknown (from nas linux1)
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: auth.c:1256:sfn_ack: timeout for [caio] is set to
0 sec
Mar 22 13:49:28: Auth.debug: leakdetect.c:144:efree: free(200313c8)

and then the server segfaults (and dumps core)
i cant see nothing wrong in this debug, i tried to raise the debug level a bit
(until 300 , but it changed nothing on the debug.log output :( )
i started this server with -f -y -z -n -p 1666 (so its only authenticating)
(initialy i thought the bug was in acct part of the code, but the server
aparently
dies in the auth part of the process)
now i think it has something to do with the last free statment
but infortunately i cant code in c well enought to understand the error :(

i compiled this radiusd with gcc (3.0.1)
and aix is 4.3.3 (in the last update level)

if you have any ideia of what may be causing the segfault
or need any more information
please let me know

thanks a lot for your help
