GNU make

HI

I have been having a problem with my GNU make.

When I try to make more then one pattern rule to a suffix it's entering only
to the last one or to non at all?

Does GNU make has a way to make pattern rules for all the .obj files that
will be depended on it source file?

For example:     .obj that can be made from .c / .cc / .cpp / .s files
(Only one of them).

Does those files have to be in the same directory?
